Career:
Trevor graduated from Harper Adams University in 1995 with an Honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management and then joined the Valuation Office for 12 months as a Capital Gains and Inheritance Tax Valuer. Trevor then joined a Leicester firm of Chartered Surveyors and undertook a broad spectrum of work prior to qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997. He became a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 1999 and received the Midland Counties prize for the highest examination results. Trevor then joined a national firm of Chartered Surveyors in Leicestershire as an Associate and pursued a specialism in planning and development related issues and the sale and acquisition of development land. With his co-director, Trevor set up Wells McFarlane Ltd in February 2004.
In February 2009, Trevor was elected as President of The Midland Counties Agricultural Valuers Associaton.
