Andrew graduated from Harper Adams University in 1995 with an Honours Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. On graduating, Andrew joined a rural practice firm of Chartered Surveyors in Cambridgeshire where he specialised in rural property matters. After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997 he become a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. In 2000 Andrew became an Associate in the business, before returning to the Midlands where he joined a national firm of Chartered Surveyors as an Associate specialising in commercial property matters. Andrew is a RICS registered valuer and, together with his co-director Trevor, Andrew set up Wells McFarlane in February 2004.

Trevor graduated from Harper Adams University in 1995 with an Honours Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management and then joined the Valuation Office for 12 months as a Capital Gains and Inheritance Tax Valuer. Trevor then joined a Leicester firm of Chartered Surveyors and undertook a broad spectrum of work prior to qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1997. He became a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers in 1999 and received the Midland Counties prize for the highest examination results. Trevor then joined a national firm of Chartered Surveyors in Leicestershire as an Associate and pursued a specialism in planning and development related issues and the sale and acquisition of development land. With his co-director Andrew, Trevor set up Wells McFarlane in February 2004. In February 2009, Trevor was elected as President of The Midland Counties Agricultural Valuers Association. Trevor is a RICS Registered Valuer.
Michelle Mills MRICS

Michelle studied for her BSc at Leicester University and then qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005, having undertaken her PG Dip in Estate Management at Southbank University. Prior to joining Wells McFarlane Michelle worked in the Cambridge office of Bidwell’s Property Consultants where she worked in Property Management managing Cambridge University’s Property Portfolios consisting of a mixture of office, laboratory, industrial and retail premises and specifically Cambridge Science Park. Michelle then moved to Office Agency and was promoted to Head of Office Agency. Michelle moved to Wells McFarlane in 2012 and was promoted to Director at Wells McFarlane in 2014. Michelle now undertakes a full range of Agency, Property Management and is a RICS Registered Valuer. In her spare time Michelle enjoys horse riding and running, sometimes on a competitive basis, and watching rugby.

Sarah is an accountant with over 30 years’ experience working in a variety of organisations from banking, to GCHQ, to national Chartered Surveyors Practices. Sarah joined Wells McFarlane in November 2011 and manages the accounts team producing the company accounts, co-ordinating the client accounts department and communicating regularly with our property owners, their tenants and suppliers. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys walking and village activities.

Kay began her estate agency career with the Countrywide group based in Birmingham where she worked for 14 years. Within that time Kay quickly earned the title of top negotiator, a title which she held consecutively for four years before becoming Valuations and then Branch Manager. Kay then moved to the more rural area of Loughborough joining Haarts as Branch Manager. After 17 years in estate agency Kay took a career break, then returned to residential sales at Your Move Coalville, where she remained for two years before being invited to join the residential team at Wells McFarlane. Kay enjoys baking cakes in her spare time.

Louise joined Wells McFarlane in June 2015 after working for 4 years at Peugeot Citroen UK Head Office in a large accounts department dealing with accounts for different sites across the UK. Louise is currently studying towards her AAT and works directly with Sarah Holmes dealing with all aspects of the clients’ accounts, invoicing and service charges. In her spare time Louise enjoys training in mixed martial arts, reading and walking the dog.

After spending three years as a Secretary, Lindsey trained as a Croupier. After several years at a Leicester casino, she moved to South Africa where she spent five years, first as a Croupier, then as a PA at Sun City. Upon her return to England, Lindsey worked as PA to the owner of Leicester’s top Auction House, where she stayed for seventeen years. In June 2004 she joined Wells McFarlane as PA to Trevor Wells and Andrew McFarlane Holt. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys going to concerts, the cinema and theatre.
After excelling in a temporary PA role with Wells McFarlane, Amanda was subsequently offered the full time position of Office Manager in January 2017. Prior to this, Amanda spent 15 years with Barclays Bank PLC, rising to the position of Branch Manager. Following extended maternity leave, Amanda pursued a career change, qualifying as a Microsoft Office Specialist and a Teacher of Further Education specialising in IT. Amanda then spent 11 years working within the education sector, her roles included teaching and managerial positions. Outside of work, Amanda and her husband enjoy skiing with their son and watching him perform in theatres across the country.

Jason graduated from De Montfort University in 2000 with an Honours Degree in Land Management. On graduating Jason joined Bidwells Property consultants in Northampton before moving back to Leicestershire and most recently specialising in commercial property matters working for a national firm of Chartered Surveyors.
Jason has been actively involved within the property industry for over 15 years, gaining significant experience in both commercial and residential markets including; agency, valuation, telecoms, compulsory purchase and compensation within the East Midlands region.
Outside work, Jason and his wife live in south east Leicestershire. Jason is a keen golfer and has represented club and county since returning to amateur status following a number of successful years on the professional circuit. Competitive by nature, he enjoys most sports and a meal out with friends.
