A contemporary art exhibition in Rugby features a piece by our very own Commercial Asset Manager, Chrissy Feenan.

Chrissy’s artwork is a hand drawn comic strip depicting her son’s holiday adventures and is on display at the Rugby Art Gallery & Museum as part of the Rugby Open 22 Exhibition.

Chrissy said: “Last year my son, Adam finished working for Camp America and subsequently travelled to Colombia but all his photos were digital. With photo albums not as popular anymore, I decided to draw some of his adventures to display at home. This has now become a hobby, so when I spotted Rugby Open 22 was open for beginners, I decided to go for it. The piece on display is my third piece of work and it shows my youngest son, James on holiday in Northumberland. I’m thrilled it was accepted for exhibition as it’s given me a real confidence boost in my ability.”

Rugby Open 22 includes paintings, photographs, sculptures and textures from beginner, amateur and professional artists. Chrissy’s artwork is available to view until Saturday 4 February 2023. Learn more at
