The 2021 CoStar Awards have been published and we’re pleased to announce we rank among the top five agents in Leicester and the East Midlands for office and industrial deals.
Compiled annually, the CoStar Awards recognise the successes of the UK’s top commercial property professionals and a ranking means you’re considered the best of the best in commercial real estate.
In the East Midlands, we placed second and third in two industrial deal categories (Most Active Single Branch Agency Acquisitions & Disposals – Square Footage and Number) while in Leicester we ranked in three office deal categories; second in both Most Active Single Branch Agency Acquisitions & Disposals – Square Footage and Number and fourth in Most Active Disposal Agent – Number.
Our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt commented: “Whilst the last 12 months has been challenging to say the least, transactions have still been taking place as businesses have adapted their services and working patterns. Although there has been some fallout, particularly in city centres, the out-of-town estates and rural business parks have performed strongly and we’ve managed to secure deals during all three national lockdowns. In fact, we completed on more commercial space than the previous year, proving there is an appetite from new businesses to find their first premises and existing companies to relocate or expand. These CoStar rankings are not just a solid benchmark for our performance during this time but also a superb endorsement that our team is one of the region’s top commercial property consultancies.”
