EXPANSION FOR EXHIBITION DISPLAY STAND MANUFACTURER

17 October 2022

A company specialising in the manufacture of portable display systems for exhibitions and events has expanded into a 2,872 sq ft office on one of Market Harborough’s most popular business parks.

Very Displays has moved to The Point Business Park on the Leicestershire town’s north-eastern edge. Our director, Jason Hercock negotiated the deal on behalf of the landlord’s managing agent.

“It’s pleasing to have secured Unit 17 at The Point for Very Displays and we wish them every success with the move,” said Jason. “The current office market is in a position of parity so to successfully conclude transactions like these requires a willingness and motivation from both tenants and landlord, as well as robust intelligence and advice from agents on what the most appropriate deal is. As the economic climate remains hugely unsteady, it’s not surprising there is hesitancy and indecision from business-owners. However, by engaging with both sides and gaining a genuine understanding of their priorities, deals can be achieved.”

From its new premises, Very Displays hopes to continue growing, including construction of an ‘experiential’ showroom. Managing director, Simon Boswell comments: “We’ve moved from Beaumont Leys to Market Harborough to bring all our business functions closer together and give us more room to grow and expand. The new office means we’ll be able to unite our sales, marketing, purchasing, export, and finance teams, but also allows us to realise a longstanding ambition of having a fully equipped showroom where customers can see and experience our products in real-life exhibition, retail and outdoor settings. Watch this space on our new showroom!

“Additionally, the move means our office is now only two miles from our warehouse, which has considerably improved efficiencies. For instance, we’ve moved our large format printers into the warehouse to enable faster dispatch and also installed new racking to simplify stock management. With a full team in place and the new office now fully open, we’re confident Very Displays has an exciting future,” concluded Simon.

Situated on Rockingham Road with excellent access to the A6 and A14, offices at The Point are largely open plan and benefit from high-speed broadband and excellent parking.

Jason adds: “Interestingly, The Point attracts enquiries from London-based companies seeking a satellite office in the Midlands. With trains between Market Harborough and the Capital taking less than an hour, and The Point being within walking distance of the train station, it’s easy to see why. Our current availability is between 700 sq ft and 3,000 sq ft to let, and a rare opportunity to acquire a freehold unit. Please get in touch for more information.”
