INDEPENDENT GARDEN SUPPLIER SECURES THREE PREMISES AT DOVECOTE COURT

06 June 2024

Three premises at Dovecote Court, the beautiful rural business park in Potters Marston, have been taken by a family-run business as it seeks further expansion.

Independent supplier and garden design specialist, Garden Sense Online has secured the first floor of The Stables, The Bakery and its outside space in a deal negotiated by our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt.

“Our business originally began by supplying Italian porcelain tiles and Indian sandstone but in the last year, we expanded our portfolio to include garden furniture and accessories, water features, verandas, as well as a garden design service,” explains Garden Sense Online’s Director, Claire Hibbert.

“Dovecote Court offers a beautiful backdrop for our revised business model. The Stables are being used as our offices and meeting room for day-to-day business, The Bakery will be developed into our indoor showroom including a dedicated consultation area for our garden design clients, while the outdoor space will allow customers to view products in the natural light and become a showcase for our outdoor living ranges.

“Although we had a display area in our previous location, the idyllic rural setting at Dovecote Court will enable us to increase our product range and offer our customers a peaceful, relaxed environment to browse and seek inspiration for their dream garden.

“We’re extremely grateful to the Wells McFarlane team for understanding our vision and helping us secure these three premises for the next phase of our business,” concludes Claire.
