Two land deals concluded by our Director, Trevor Wells will see the creation of 405 new homes across Leicestershire.
At East Goscote in the district of Charnwood, 270 new homes will be built on the village’s eastern edge while at Lutterworth Road, Burbage, a further 135 homes will be created for local families.
Trevor said: “It’s excellent news that contracts have now been exchanged on these two sites in popular Leicestershire villages. Both exchanges were completed ahead of the Spring Budget, meaning landowners were able to fix their tax date in case of any unexpected changes. The values achieved reinforce the strength of the current residential market in the Midlands, where we are experiencing huge demand and a lack of available stock.
“Land that’s adjacent to settlement boundaries, well-connected to principal road networks, or in close proximity to major employment or infrastructure hubs is hugely appealing so landowners with similar parcels are encouraged to seek advice on current values.”
The deals at East Goscote and Burbage were concluded to a PLC and a private housebuilder.
