We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Abi Bradley to our board of directors.
Abi’s promotion sees her become our Finance Director, following six years leading our accounts team. Abi will retain her existing role overseeing our entire accounts function, which includes managing company, client and tenant accounts; invoicing; forecasting; budgeting; professional compliance; VAT returns via Making Tax Digital; and finalising year end accounts.
As Finance Director, Abi joins our existing board members in setting strategy and long-term goals for the business, which celebrated its 21st anniversary last year.
“Day to day, this promotion means I will have a more meaningful input into how the business operates from a financial point of view and I’ll be looking at where we can make improvements and efficiencies companywide,” says Abi. “In the longer term, I’d like to work towards an ISO accreditation for both quality and environmental management; to reflect the high standards and competencies we already have in place. I’m also looking to move to a cloud-based version of our property management software to accelerate our transition to a paperless office.
“I’m excited to help shape the future for Wells McFarlane and am especially grateful to my Co-Directors for the trust and confidence they’ve placed in me with this opportunity,” adds Abi.
Abi is an ACCA member, becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant in 2020.
