QUANTITY SURVEYORS SWAP TOWN CENTRE PREMISES TO ENHANCE HYBRID WORKING

A private quantity surveying and project management practice has relocated its Lutterworth office to a more prominent location in the town, enabling more efficient hybrid working.

In a deal negotiated by our Commercial Asset Manager, Chrissy Feenan, the John Lester Partnership (JLP) has taken a 514 sq ft office in the characterful Norfolk House building on the town’s High Street.

Motivated by a desire for a more inclusive, open plan workplace, JLP’s directors sought a new premises better suited to their post-pandemic working model.

“With working from home firmly established, we wanted to ensure time spent in the office was engaging and beneficial for all the team,” explains one of JLP’s Owner/Directors, Eleftherios Patsalides. “We required a more open plan environment where staff can collaborate and be fully involved in decision-making to ensure smooth project management. Our client base and project portfolio is national, so the emphasis for the new office was centred around staff convenience and wellbeing, including limiting any additional travel time.

“When we spotted Norfolk House was available, just a ten-minute walk from our existing office, we knew it would be ideal. Its high street location ensures we have a visible presence within the town, and travel time for staff isn’t adversely affected. Wells McFarlane were helpful throughout the negotiations, responding promptly and professionally.”

Having now settled into Norfolk House, JLP’s Directors are looking towards business growth. Eleftherios adds: “Our current commissions for the next two years look very positive and if this rate continues, we will most certainly be looking to recruit so it’s great news we have a welcoming new office now in place.”
