A start-up business specialising in children’s sensory toys and gadgets has taken its first ever premises.
Vick Fords Group Ltd, owned by local entrepreneur, Victor Ukonu, has moved to a 2,127 sq ft in East Langton, Leicestershire. Comprising office space with a large production/storage area at the rear, Unit 15 at The Print Rooms offered Victor the ideal space for his growing business.
Victor said: “I’d started my business from home but rapidly realised I needed more space, especially to store stock. Unit 15 at The Print Rooms is easily accessible and was readily available for me to move quickly. I hope in the future to be able to create jobs in areas like sales, marketing and logistics but I am focused now on setting up the new office.”
Our Commercial Asset Manager, Chrissy Feenan negotiated the deal. Chrissy added: “The office market is active, particularly for businesses like Victor’s that have outgrown the kitchen table and now need a more permanent solution, or for those nearing the end of a lease that was agreed pre-pandemic and looking for something more flexible to accommodate hybrid working. Rural and semi-rural premises are in high demand, so we encourage landlords with similar properties to get in touch.”
