A prominent retail premises on Solihull High Street has been sold in a deal negotiated by our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt.
A private investor has acquired the two-storey, freehold property at 34-38 High Street. Totalling 6,245 sq ft, the property is currently occupied by national retailer, Cards Direct on a long-term lease until March 2033.
“Solihull High Street is pedestrianised, part of the main shopping thoroughfare and home of many well-known brands,” says Andrew. “With a national retailer as an established tenant, it was therefore unsurprising that this property made an attractive investment opportunity. We were pleased to conclude a relatively quick sale.
“I’m also happy to confirm that our success negotiating this transaction caught the attention of a neighbouring landlord, who has instructed us to market another investment opportunity in the town. Situated opposite Solihull Retail Park, 568 Stratford Road is occupied by European Tyre Enterprises Ltd. Comprising 4,337 sq ft, this property is being marketed for sale at £700,000,” adds Andrew.
