A new housing development by Davidsons Homes will benefit from a Sainsbury’s convenience store after our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt successfully negotiated a long-term lease for the national retailer.
Sainsbury’s will occupy a purpose-built, 3,750 sq ft unit at the brand new Davidsons development in Lower Bardon, Coalville on a 15-year lease. The Sainsburys store is one of two commercial units currently under construction at Grange View, with the other, a 1,066 sq ft space, available to let.
Andrew comments: “Located strategically near the development entrance just off Grange Road, these commercial units benefit from high visibility and are set to become a real hub for new homeowners and the wider community. This significant, long-term letting to Sainsbury’s establishes a premium anchor tenant and strengthens the development's appeal. We’re confident they’ll make a positive impact when they launch this summer and wish them every success.
“The neighbouring, self-contained unit is expected to be ready for occupancy in summer 2026 and would suit a retail or leisure business, particularly a café. 16 car parking spaces will be available for customer use. There will also be seven, one- and two-bed apartments available to let at a similar time.
“With a premium brand now confirmed, we anticipate a high level of demand for this final space. Interested tenants are encouraged to arrange viewings quickly,” concludes Andrew.
