A Market Harborough housing development will benefit from a Sainsbury’s convenience store and Esquires Coffee shop after we secured long-term leases for the national retailers.
Our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt has negotiated a 15-year lease for Sainsbury’s to occupy a 4,500 sq ft unit and a ten-year lease for Esquires Coffee to take a 1,500 sq ft unit at Wellington Place, the brand new housing development by Davidsons Homes on the town’s northwestern edge.
A total of three, purpose-built commercial premises are currently under construction by Davidsons Homes, creating a new focal point for the development. Collectively, they will benefit from 50 car parking spaces.
Acting on behalf of Davidsons Homes, we are instructed to market all three units. Andrew comments: “These commercial units are located prominently, just off Harvest Road, and are set to become a real community hub, providing convenient facilities and a welcoming meeting point for the residents of the circa. 500 homes Davidsons Homes is building.
“It’s therefore excellent news to have completed two such significant, long-term lettings and established premium anchor tenants for the neighbourhood. We wish Sainsbury’s and Esquires Coffee every success when they launch later this year,” adds Andrew.
The final commercial unit remains available at Wellington Place. Andrew adds: “At 1,667 sq ft, the final self-contained unit is prime for many types of retailers, from a boutique clothing shop to yoga/fitness studio to beauty salon. With two premium brands now confirmed as neighbours, the Wellington Place community hub is expected to become an attractive destination for residents and visitors alike. Therefore, we anticipate a high level of demand for this final unit. Interested tenants are encouraged to arrange viewings quickly,” concludes Andrew.
