FORMER POINT-TO-POINT LAND ACQUIRED

22 September 2021

In a recent deal negotiated by our director, Trevor Wells, the former Atherstone point-to-point land has been acquired by a private client.

Situated between the villages of Lilbourne, Northamptonshire and Clifton-upon-Dunsmore, Warwickshire, the approximately 30-hectare site comprises a mix of arable and pasture land with good transport connections, including gated access to the A5.

Trevor said: “As thousands of people have attended the point-to-point races over the years, this land is very well-known so were pleased to be able to conclude a purchase on behalf of our clients. Parcels of land of this quality and potential are scarcely available in the Midlands, meaning the market is both active and competitive, so we encourage landowners or farmers who may be considering a sale to get in touch. With the threat of Capital Gains Tax rises on the horizon and demand remaining high for land, now is a good time to be actioning any plans to sell.”
