Last week, Charnwood Borough Council’s Plans Committee confirmed a resolution to grant planning permission for a major new residential development in East Goscote, Leicestershire.
Following an application by land promoter, Gladman, permission for 270 new homes was received and alongside our joint agents, we’ll be bringing this 43 acre (approx.) site to market very soon.
Our director, Trevor Wells said: “The successful outcome of this planning application was really welcome news. The site occupies an excellent location on the eastern edge of East Goscote and is highly commutable from Leicester, Loughborough or Nottingham, making it ideal for new homes. With few land parcels like this currently available, it’s not surprising we have already received several expressions of interest.”
The site includes 30% affordable housing together with significant areas of open space and green infrastructure, comprising a play area. It will provide financial contributions towards local infrastructure including education, health provision, sporting facilities and enhancement of allotment facilities in East Goscote.
